What is a Goldendoodle?
A Goldendoodle is the result of breeding a poodle with a golden retriever. By creating this designer dog we are able to take the intelligence and coat of the poodle and the stellar temperament and loyalty of the golden retriever. Why we breed Goldendoodles? Due to a few members of our family being allergic to dogs it was important for us to find a dog that was very low shedding but also fit in with our family. The golden retriever was a perfect fit personality wise but it's shedding coat did not work which is why we decided to breed with a poodle to get that curly low/non shedding coat that the Goldendoodle is now famous for. What kind of Goldendoodles do we breed? We breed F1, F1b, & F1bb Goldendoodles. A F1 Goldendoodle is a first generation cross between a golden retriever and a Poodle. **There is a higher chance of shedding with this generation. A F1b Goldendoodle is a cross between a Poodle and a first generation Goldendoodle. A F1bb Goldendoodle is a F1b Goldendoodle bred to a Poodle. Sizes? We breed Standard, Moyen, and Mini Goldendoodles.
